Veronica Wrigley, President

In addition to being the founder of Vanishings Laser Esthetics, Veronica also carries a Certified Dental Assistant license which provided her with the stepping stone for training in the medical spa industry. Veronica graduated in 1992 with her CDA license, and worked as an assistant for Dr. Chris Rickards for over 10 years, eventually becoming his full-time Business Manager, for the past five years. While juggling an already busy dental career, Veronica started her personal goal of establishing her own laser hair removal clinic. With her hard work and creative vision, Vanishings Laser Esthetics quickly grew from a one room laser hair removal clinic to the Full Service Medical Spa & Vein Clinic it is today! Veronica has always had a passion for helping others to better themselves – and has found an outlet for this desire in creating a positive and rewarding team environment for her employees and clientele.

Veronica’s strong desire to provide clients with the best possible treatment in a caring, professional atmosphere is apparent in the extensive training she provides to herself and her team. She believes that the first step in taking care of clients is to train her team members to the highest level available in their field. In addition to the technical training she provides; Veronica also devotes a great amount of time into providing advanced training in customer service. She realizes that without exceptional staff, you cannot provide exceptional customer service. Her motto, "lead by example" is promoted each and every day at Vanishings – she strives to provide her staff with opportunity to advance both personally and professionally.

Veronica loves to travel and most recently spent time in Africa volunteering at a lion breeding project, visiting children’s orphanages, and took part in gorilla trekking. Whether she is traveling for work or leisure, you won't find Veronica very far away from a book or her laptop – researching new technologies, treatment modalities, team leadership ideas and personal growth. Veronica has a love of the outdoors and animals. She enjoys her time at home with her pets, participating in outdoor activities or just being with her family and friends.

Bev Sutton, General Manager

Bev and Veronica happen to have a long history graduating together as Certified Dental Assistants in 1992. Working in a cosmetic and laser oriented dental office for over 12 years, the Medical Spa industry was a natural progression for Bev. She has been involved with Vanishings since it's inception in 2001, but in 2006, recently gave up her position at the dental clinic to become the General Manager for both Vanishings' clinics. Bev is the "common thread" between the two clinics, helping to maintain our “team” environment and ensure that both clinics are providing the same level of customer service and treatments that is expected of them. Bev’s loyalty to Vanishings and her strict attention to detail in everything that she does provides an excellent model for the rest of the team. Bev also thrives on continuing education and is very passionate about sharing it with others, be it other team members or clients. Like a typical mom, Bev is a “multitasker” and juggles her career and family life with zest. She enjoys the time away from her busy schedule to be with her husband Bob and son Joshua. As with all the management team at Vanishings, Bev is a certified technician for our laser systems, and is able to step into a technician role, or assist in a treatment whenever needed.

Lee Wrigley, Office Manager

In 2001, Lee was also present for the inception of Vanishings Laser Esthetics where she participated in the initial training to become a Certified Hair Removal Technician. Lee performed hair removal treatments on a part-time basis while still working as a part-time receptionist and sterilization assistant at a dental office in Prince George.

Lee’s high energy, people skills and loyalty earned her a career offer to become the Office Manager for a second Vanishings Laser Esthetics in Grande Prairie, Alberta in February 2003. From the ground up, Lee was involved in the creation and opening of the Grande Prairie office. A considerable amount of self study and a little guidance from Veronica in the months following the opening helped Lee develop her great skills in management, customer service and leadership. Relocating to Grande Prairie was a dramatic change for Lee and her family; husband Derald, and sons Tyler and Tyson who were born and raised in Prince George but love Grande Prairie and have settled nicely into being Alberta residents. Lee continues to lead her team with enthusiasm, energy and a commitment to providing the best service possible to Vanishings clients.
